"Questar" from My Song (ECM1115) is among my favourite of Keith Jarrett's composition (alongside "Rainbow", "Prism", and "So Tender"). My arrangement transposes the tune from Bb to A (F concert) on this C-scale baritone guitar (F concert) so as to make use of the open strings. The tune's well structured to build and release tension through its 3 parts. The tune might be more suited to my nylon-string baritone--but then might also work with this instrument (the 3 sounds heard are magnetic pickup, piezo pickup, and emulated acoustic from the piezos). There a mess-up on the (to me, excitement-filled) return to the head.
