James Williams: still got the grease album

James Williams  has come a long way from  featured by Mike Varney’s spotlight column in Guitar Player magazine, to a rip roaring rock blues player on his latest release.

His previous two albums are more progressive rock guitar affairs. "X Opus The Epiphany". It is a full throttle  vocal / neoclassical progressive metal guitar album. It remains highly recommended for fans of that style.

His next release  was a burning  all-instrumental shred guitar album. Again this should be on your shopping list, look for "James Williams Eclectic Shred". A real fret burner it received international critical acclaim.

On to his latest release, there is a slight right turn to a more rock blues approach, but still that glorious fire and tones that you have come to expect from his fluid fingers. "Still Got The Grease" the album title pretty much describes what you get in the tin.  This is smoking rock blues likely to appeal to fans of Bonamassa, et al.  So if your hankering from some smoking grooves and that hit grip it and rip style get hold of a copy.  Indeed, I'm happy to recommend all three albums
