The 2nd Solo Album by the Bassist Martin Motnik for German Pioneers of Heavy Metal ACCEPT features Enjoyable Virtuoso Bass Playing and World-Class Musical Guests…

German-native bass virtuoso Martin Motnik has released his follow-up album, Dream Chaser, to the 2005 debut “Bass Invader” which had featured iconic drummer Gregg Bissonette (Ringo Starr All-Star Band, David Lee Roth). This time Motnik has recruited a whole army of world-class musicians, laying down driving drum tracks and climaxing guest solos in his arrangements that are otherwise played with only bass guitars.

The style on this instrumental album ranges from driving melodic rock to Latin, RB, fusion, classical music, swing, jazz, and blues. Each song features a solo by a legendary guest musician. namely Joe Satriani (Solo, Chickenfoot), Wolf Hoffmann (ACCEPT), Bruce Kulick (KISS, Grand Funk Railroad), Frank Gambale (Session Guitarist, Chick Corea), Trev Lukather (Session Guitarist, Steve’s son), Andy Timmons (Danger Danger, Olivia Newton-John, Solo), Mattias IA Eklundh (Freak Kitchen, Solo), Tim Tucker (United States Marine Band), Jennifer Batten (Michael Jackson, Jeff Beck, Solo), and Derek Sherinian (Dream Theater, Whitesnake, Sons Of Apollo), while the groove of each tune is carried by one of four amazing drummers Christopher Williams (ACCEPT, Gene Simmons, Ace Frehley), Walfredo Reyes Jr. (Santana, Chicago, Steve Winwood), Joe Babiak (Michael Angelo Batio, Attitudes Altitude), and Gregg Bissonette (L.A. Session, Ringo Starr All-Star Band, David Lee Roth). Mixing Mastering was done by Frank Motnik (Elton John, Roxette, The Darkness, Curtis Stigers, N’Sync, Martha Wash feat. RuPaul).

After reaching the ranks of joining an internationally acclaimed rock band with German pioneers of Heavy Metal ACCEPT (“Balls To The Wall”) in 2019, Motnik has now fulfilled another dream by collaborating with his musical heroes on this pleasantly diverse album. Despite demonstrating the wide variety of sounds that a bass guitar is capable of producing, this is not a technical show-off album but an enjoyable collection of instrumental songs that also non-musicians will enjoy. The album is available on CD and vinyl and via streaming. Links to the album on the major streaming pages are on martinmotnik.hearnow.com.
