Vinícius Perez: Donna Lee

This is one of the most fascinating Bebop heads, at the very least in my humble opinion. Through Bird’s eloquent renditions of Miles’ master piece, one is transported deep into the roots of Bebop vocab instantly. I wrote this 8-String solo guitar arrangement as an homage to this musical language that became my most natural means of musically expressing myself. As I like to keep telling myself daily: “Let’s just Bop those changes”. Recorded with a handmade 8-String semi hollow body guitar made by @isguitars through a Pod Go by @official_line6
