After a 6-year hiatus, the Kiesel Guitars Solo Contest is back! Compose your own guitar solo to the backing track on any guitar, Kiesel or not, for the chance to win a new Kiesel.
2026 Solo Contest Rules
1. Download the Official Backing Track here:

2. Record a video submission of your solo, upload it to YouTube with the tag #kieselsolocontest2026, and fill out the submission form here: https://www.kieselguitars.com/solo-contest
3. Both a YouTube upload and a form submission are required to be officially entered.
a. The submission video must be listed as public.
i. Unlisted or private videos will not be considered.
4. Feel free to post on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, or your favorite platform in addition to YouTube!
5. Please do not tag Kiesel employees.
6. Kiesel Guitars will narrow submissions down to the Top 30. Then, submissions will be narrowed down to the Top 10 via group members' majority vote in the official 2026 Solo Contest Facebook group. The Top 3 of these ten submissions will be selected by a Kiesel Guitars-selected panel of judges.
7. Only one submission per player will be eligible.
8. The submission period will close on June 29th (6/29) at 8:30 AM PST.
9. Winners will be announced on July 1st
Important note: Every submission following this procedure will be seen. No need to follow up!

Prizes:
First Place: $3000 build credit towards a custom Kiesel guitar
Second Place: Base-price Kiesel guitar (bolt-on models only)
Third Place: A set of pickups + merch item of choice
*Free shipping on prizes
*Up to $500 will be provided by Kiesel Guitars to cover taxes and duties. Any additional taxes, duties, or other fees incurred beyond the $500 stipend will be the recipient's responsibility.
