It's been a long time since I last covered a Stevie Ray Vaughan song!
I've been practicing this one for quite a while,
but I kept putting off uploading it because I just wasn't happy with how it turned out. So... here it is, finally! π
Out of all the Stevie Ray Vaughan songs I've covered so far, this has been the hardest one to capture the right feel.
It sounds amazing when you listen to it, but actually playing it is a completely different story.
Getting that sharp, powerful tone and SRV's signature groove was much more difficult than I expected.
No matter how much I practiced, I couldn't quite get the sound I had in my head, and that's why this upload took so long.
I guess it's time to hit the gym. πͺπ€£
Hopefully, thanks to everything I learned from this song,
Tightrope and Riviera Paradise will be a little easier to tackle... at least I hope so. π
Anyway, if I keep waiting until it's perfect, I'll probably never upload it,
so I'm calling it here and moving on to the next song!
