Short Bio
Cameron Allen is a dynamic guitarist, composer, and educator based in Atlanta, GA. A graduate of the Atlanta Institute of Music (AIMM), where he now serves as an instructor, Allen has earned recognition for his virtuosic style that blends rock, jazz, funk, classical, and metal. Throughout his career, he has toured internationally with the band Sixxis and was a founding member of the progressive metal band Eden Architect (2018–2025). He is an endorsed artist for brands including Vigier Guitars and Fractal Audio Systems.

Here I'm really focusing on creating rhythmic contrast, sometimes locking into a strict rhythmic subdivision and other times floating over the time.
8-finger tapping is a fantastic way to create wide melodic intervals that aren't possible using conventional technique, plus it also provides a nice consistent legato sound to the lines.
