The Organizing Principle of Synchronicity is the first instrumental solo album by Chris DeWolf — a melodic metal and classic rock–influenced record built around atmosphere, dynamics, and expressive guitar playing.

Blending heavy riffs, cinematic orchestration, and melodic phrasing, the album moves between aggressive, high-energy compositions and more emotional, groove-driven pieces. Four of the tracks feature a full symphony orchestra, adding depth and scale to the overall sound. The orchestra performing is The Victor Smolski Orchestra.

The lineup along with DeWolf consist of Matt Thompson and Mike Squires and features Andy LaRocque as co-producer, mixing and mastering.

Chris DeWolf is a Norwegian/British guitarist, songwriter and producer whose music blends melodic metal, classic rock, cinematic orchestration and expressive guitar-driven storytelling.

Known from Critical Solution and Imperial Child, DeWolf combines soaring melodies, powerful riffs and orchestral arrangements into a distinctive instrumental sound that balances technicality with emotion.

Drawing inspiration from everything from hard rock and heavy metal to film scores and progressive music, DeWolf creates instrumental compositions that balance melody, atmosphere and intensity.

The Organizing Principle of Synchronicity features Mike Squires on Bass, Matt Thompson on drums as well as guest appearances by Victor Smolski Orchestra, Andy LaRocque, Robby Keys and Eagle McMorgan.
