Biography
Dino Cazares is an influential Mexican-American heavy metal musician best known as the co-founder, primary songwriter, and rhythm guitarist of the pioneering industrial metal band Fear Factory. Formed in Los Angeles in 1990, Cazares defined a revolutionary cybernetic metal blueprint characterized by heavily down-tuned, machine-like palm-muted riffing combined with rapid-fire double-bass syncopation. Beyond Fear Factory, he has left a massive footprint across extreme metal through projects like the extreme grindcore outfit Brujeria, technical death-metal/metalcore group Divine Heresy, and death-grind side project Asesino.
