Note: Future Palace is an acclaimed German alternative metal and post-hardcore band formed in Berlin in late 2018. Known for blending heavy, atmospheric guitar walls with massive electronic soundscapes and deeply vulnerable lyricism, they have risen rapidly to become one of modern European heavy music's most vital acts.

Extensive Biography

Future Palace was formed in late 2018 by guitarist Manuel Kohlert and drummer Johannes Früchtenicht—who had previously played together in various underground projects—alongside vocalist Maria Lessing. Bonding over a shared vision to merge aggressive post-hardcore energy with cinematic alt-rock textures, the trio quickly built momentum through early independent singles like "Maybe" and "Anomaly".

In 2020, they inked a deal with Arising Empire and released their debut studio album, Escape, introducing a raw exploration of inner conflict and psychological survival. Their sophomore record, Run (2022), broke into the official German Album Charts and cemented their international reputation, propelled by heavy touring and striking visual storytelling. With their third album, Distortion (2024), the band expanded their sonic parameters into heavier, darker industrial and alternative metal realms.

Transitioning to the legendary global metal powerhouse Century Media Records in 2025, Future Palace unleashed their fourth studio album, Resurgence (2026). Featuring sweeping dynamic contrasts—ranging from crushingly heavy 8-string guitar riffs and aggressive breakdowns to hauntingly fragile ambient moments—Future Palace continues to redefine the boundaries of modern heavy music worldwide.
