Biography
Marco Gennaro is an Italian session guitarist based in Berlin, Germany. With extensive experience across rock, pop, progressive metal, and musical theater productions, his playing style draws strong influences from modern rock, progressive metal, and modern jazz, complemented by a bluesy touch in his solos. Alongside his collaborative work with various bands and theatrical orchestras—including performing in critically acclaimed German musicals like Ku'Damm 56, Romeo und Julia, and Ku'Damm 59—he writes, arranges, and records his own original material.

"I'm playing all the guitar parts of the song as they appear on the record and in disregard of who' s playing what live. The song is based on a majority of minor chords, which are Em Cm Am Fm, and it alternates a bunch of heavy riffs. The first lead part is based on an E minor scale, while the third and final solo it contains some materials from the E melodic minor scale as well. The second lead section, characterised by an octaver and reverb sound, is an arpeggio sequence that follows the chord progression, expanding each of them by adding various chords extensions such as the 9th and the 7th."
