Paul Rose
British Rock, Blues, and Fusion Guitar Virtuoso
Biography
Born in Newcastle, England, Paul Rose is widely acclaimed as one of the most unique and technically gifted guitarists in modern rock. His distinctive playing style seamlessly fuses high-energy rock with elements of blues, country, jazz, and folk, yielding a tone and approach that is entirely his own.
Rose's career hit a major milestone when legendary guitarist Rory Gallagher chose him as the winner of a nationwide Fender-sponsored competition out of 1,000 entrants, praising him as “a hot player with a hot future”. Shortly after, Rose won Guitarist Magazine’s prestigious "Guitarist of the Year" award. Known for his blistering live performances and deep soulful phrasing, he has released a celebrated series of independent solo albums and worked alongside notable artists like Gerry McAvoy's Band of Friends.
