Alex Hutchings
Master Jazz-Fusion, Rock & Legato Guitar Virtuoso
Biography
Hailing from the South West of England, Alex Hutchings is an internationally acclaimed guitarist, composer, and educator revered for his extraordinary technique, impeccable legato phrasing, and sophisticated jazz-rock harmonic vocabulary. With a background that spans extensive touring, theater work, cruise-ship musical direction, and session dates, Hutchings first captured widespread global attention through his virtuoso instructional releases and masterclasses with JamTrackCentral (JTC Guitar), inspiring modern fusion and progressive rock players worldwide.
In 2017, Hutchings was hand-picked by progressive music titan Steven Wilson to serve as lead guitarist for the world tour supporting To the Bone, continuing through to the The Future Bites era.
