Clayton King is an American guitarist, songwriter, and session musician hailing from the American South. Developing a deep affinity for roots, blues, and country-rock from an early age, King cut his teeth across the regional club circuit, building an underground reputation for his ferocious right-hand attack, lightning-fast hybrid picking, and blues-infused melodic instincts.

Known equally as a solo instrumentalist, collaborative side-player, and prominent voice in modern online guitar communities, King bridges the gap between classic southern rock guitar heritage and modern chops-heavy fusion. My wife and I found out that we were pregnant last year. We were both equal parts stoked and terrified... As the due date got closer, I caught myself daydreaming more and more about all the great summers I had as a kid. And how I couldn't wait to make those memories with my lil dude, just like my parents did with me.

This song is my best attempt of expressing those feelings of summer nostalgia :)
