Selected Discography & Releases

Singles & Standalone Releases

Defiance (June 2026)
A driving, attitude-forward instrumental track anchored by punchy rhythmic accents, heavy groove pacing, and assertive lead phrasing.
Capoeas (September 2026)
A dynamic, rhythm-centric piece drawing on syncopated movements and percussive melodic textures, blending atmospheric undertones with tight pocket play.

Musical Style & Characteristics

Valeska's approach centers around rhythm, pocket, and focused instrumental arranging:

Groove-First Foundation: Rhythms rooted in instrumental funk, neo-soul, and modern soul-jazz structures, where the primary focus is locking tightly into the pocket before layering lead lines.
Syncopated Melodic Motifs: Rather than sprawling, speed-focused linear shredding, lines are built around concise, punchy phrases, rhythmic repetition, and space that allow the underlying beat to breathe.
Dynamic Textural Contrast: Combining tight, staccato rhythm figures with sustained, ambient counter-melodies and layered instrumental backdrops.
Modern Minimalist Production: Utilizing crisp, modern digital production aesthetics that emphasize clarity across the low-end groove and crisp top-end transients.
