Manhaton Records are pleased to announce the release of King King's very first live album "King King Live" – released on Friday 21st October 2016. King King's first-ever live album dovetails the band's upcoming November 2016 UK Tour with special guests Broken Witt Rebels (see below for tour dates).
A Deluxe Edition 3-disc set, available now to pre-order at Amazon.co.uk, includes two CDs that captures the live energy of King King's sold-out hometown concert at O2 ABC in Glasgow on 14th May 2016, plus a bonus DVD film of the band performing to a sold-out crowd at the Holmfirth Picturedrome on 13th April 2016. Says King King's lead singer and guitarist, Alan Nimmo, "We are excited about 'King King Live' because it's the first time we've ever released a live album. It's a great testament to how our audiences drive us on to perform to the best of our abilities. The audience reaction to the live performances is amazing. This release couldn't have been possible without them."
King King recently won five awards at the 2016 British Blues Awards including Best Album ("Reaching For The Light"), Best Vocalist(Alan Nimmo), Best Bass Player (Lindsay Coulson), Best Song ("Rush Hour") and Best Songwriter. Having scored three radio hit singles on Planet Rock with the songs "Crazy" and "Hurricane", and "Rush Hour", in 2015 King King received a nomination for Best New Band at the Classic Rock Awards. King King followed up with a UK arena tour supporting Thunder that was highlighted at a London's Wembley Arena, which won them over a raft of new rock fans.

Award-winning Blues Rock band King King announce in association with Manhaton Records and The Gig Cartel, a nationwide UK tour during November 2016with very special guests Broken Witt Rebels. In the last six months, the buzz around self-released, Birmingham blues rock band Broken Witt Rebels has reached a deafening roar. So much so that the band have rushed out their latest single, Guns, to capitalize on fan-driven interest. The official video for Guns has generated almost 500,000 YouTube hits.

In the New Year the band will record a full electric session for Paul Jones Blues Show on BBC Radio 2.
Dan Patlansky; South African blues rock guitarist and singer-songwriter, whose Dear Silence Thieves album was voted No. 1 on Blues Rock Review’s Top 20 Blues Rock Albums of 2014, will be King King’s very special guest. Fresh off his UK and European tour with JoeSatriani, and one of Classic Rock magazine’s hotly tipped new artists of 2015 to watch out for, Patlansky’s last studio album, Dear Silence Thieves has received non-stop accolades and praise from the British press. He opened for Bruce Springsteen in front of 64,000 people at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg in February 2014.

British blues rock band KING KING are excited to announce that they will be support British hard rock band THUNDER on their February 2016 UK arena tour. Tour dates include Nottingham Royal Concert Hall (Monday Feb 15), Bristol Colston Hall (Tuesday Feb 16), Glasgow Clyde Auditorium (Thursday Feb 18), Sheffield Arena (Friday Feb 19) and London Wembley Arena (Saturday Feb 20). Planet Rock will be running a 24-hour ticket pre-sale from 9am on Thursday September 24, followed by general on-sale via Ticketmaster from Friday September 25.

KING KING are proud to announce their new album “Reaching For The Light,” will be released on 180 gram vinyl on Friday 4th September. The vinyl was manufactured at The Vinyl Factory in London on the classic EMI 1400 press and the original EMI pressing plant.
Mastered specifically for vinyl production by the legendary Ray Staff (Led Zeppelin, Genesis) at Air Studios, the vinyl edition of “Reaching For The Light” is now available for pre-order from Manhaton Records.
