Mayzan,Angel Stephanie: Marty Friedman and Jason Becker's Cacophony

This is my first time to record in CRUNCH channel with a single coil 21 frets vintage strat. It will be much easier to play it with hi-gain distortion, but play it with crunch is more challenging this time... you must really hit the notes ;-) We decided to play it without any backtrack, so we can hear all the harmonies and honesty. :-) In this video I play a 1963 vintage strat (yes, it has a really thin frets.. almost unplayable haha) thru a non-master volume 1972 Marshall JMP50 amp and Angel (she's now 18) plays Marty's Jackson Kelly #1 thru a Soldano SLO-100 amp. This is raw, dry & dirty... maybe you can say it's sloppy. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it. Thanks :-)

plus!

This is a full cover of Speed Metal Symphony of Cacophony (Marty Friedman & Jason Becker).

Performed by MAYZAN with Jason Becker shirt + Hurricane Perpetual Burn Guitar (thru Soldano SLO-100 amp) and ANGEL STEPHANIE with Marty Friedman Shirt + Jackson Marty Friedman guitar (thru ENGL Invader amp) :-) Both played with 0.10 string gauge.

I play Jason Becker parts and Angel plays Marty Friedman parts. It's my dream to play this song since I first picked up my guitar in 1989. It's not perfect but at least I did it ;-)

To download the high resolution video in 1280 x 720 (175MB), please visit my website: www.mayzan.com (in video section)

Enjoy! Thanks - Mayzan
