Background:
Bane Jelic was born in Belgrade, capital of Serbia-Montenegro (ex Yugoslavia). He started to play guitar at age of 10. He has played a number of bands that are popular in the Belgrade area. He played many styles from rock, heavy metal, pop, country, and, occasionally, jazz. One of the bandstoured Yugoslavia, made a number of concerts and appearances on radio and TV, and was featured in many magazine articles and commercials.
In Januray 1986 his musical career was put on hold as Bane had to do mandatory military service. He soon became the leader of a military band.
In 1994 Bane started recording an instrumental album which he finalized in 1996.
