Background:
John Eric Champion is from Edinburg, Texas. He is currently 47 and has been playing the guitar since he was 5 years old. He has played professionally on and off for over 20 years.

John Eric Champion has won some local contests including Guitar Center's King of the Blues Contest... Interestingly enough he was disqualified in the regionals heats for refusing to play blues in a blues contest! For lucky worshippers John plays at the Baptist Temple Church in McAllen,Texas. He also occasionally will do gigs with bands on and off.

John is a humble guy and is not into big promotion, so it has been left to others to highlight his talent.
