Ayman Mokdad, Franck Ribiere, Karl Bourdin,Patrick Amar: Subatomic Revolution - New CD announced

Subatomic Revolution my new album will be available on the 21st of December 2012.

Why the title "Subatomic Revolution" for this new album?

I found this original, in this new concept album, to describe in music the most elementary particles, the matter and the anti-matter, the fundamental constituents of the universe.

It's an Instrumental progressive metal album with a taste of rock, blues, jazz, and funk.

Below are the songs titles I plan on this album:

Subatomic Revolution
Spin of the Electron
Muons and the cosmic rays
Super Heavy Tauons
Neutrinos and the continuous spectrum
Quarks up
Quarks Charm
Quarks Top
Unknown particle

Songs composed by: Ayman
Drums: Andrew Hopkins
Bass: Markus Fortunato
Rythm and lead guitars: Ayman
Mixing: Ayman
Mastering: Tower Studio
Guest guitar and keyboard soloists in no order: Franck Karmattitude, Karl KB, SLVH, Seb Garsia, Anas Abid, Patrick Amar, Philippe Luttun

Hear 'n' Aid (feat KB) - (We're) Stars (2005)

Karl Bourdin: KB has truly given guitar and virtuoso fans everywhere twelve surefire ways to warm up their days

On the album, KB proves himself to be multi-talented on the instrumental front as well. Not only does he play the guitar, he also handles the bass guitar and keyboard duties as well as the drum programming. His stylings on the axe are punctuated by thick, heavy yet melodic chords that provide a perfect background to his whimsical and fleet-fingered soloing, punctuated by extensive use of the whammy bar and the wah-wah to add a cartoony and lighthearted touch to it all. You could call his style “Shredimation” as it is very lively, upbeat and humorous, just like your favorite Saturday morning cartoon. Watch the video clip for the opening track “Sunny Day” (you can find it on YouTube) to get the full picture of KB’s musical genius at work. Another thing I love about his playing is that it’s not too fast. It’s very easy to sit back and relax while this album is on the stereo. Most of the tracks are mid-paced numbers, not million-mile-a-minute fret scorchers. Does that mean that KB can’t scorch the board? No way! On tracks like “As Far As The Eye Can See” he lights up the boards with his tasteful, melodic and cheerful fretwork. It’s shred with a purpose, and it’s purpose is to entertain as well as impress.

Karl Bourdin: KB outcast interview

6) What equipment do you use and is it exclusive? Do you ever use anything else?
I play exclusively on 7 strings guitars Ibanez (the ten strings guitar on the cover, and in my video clip, is a fake one). I just use a Fender telecaster for clean chords. In my home sudio, i use two whammy pedals (an XP 100 and an original model), a Line 6 POD XT Pro connected to my cumputer via a sounds card Motu 828 MKII, and two Genelec Cabs. On stage, i connect my POD to a Mesa Boogie 50/50 and a Marshall Greenback cab. I’ve no deal with a guitar company for the moment, but i’m ready to look into every proposition. Lol !!!

7) What do you feel separates your equipment from others?
I think i’m not different from other guitarists. My equipement is very simple. I just use two whammy pedals, but not necessary at the same time. I play on 7 strings guitars, not on ten such as on the cover of my album. I just try to develop my own style and personality, and i hope to reach that point.

Karl Bourdin: KB... Beware this man is sick

Beware this man is sick
In the best sense of the term course
For lovers of Gratt 'and the jamming of the rope hard it is rather an example

Born in Paris in 1971, he began the guitar at the age of 14, after a few lessons, he began playing in various Parisian groups and recorded several demos
At the same time his first projects take shape Instrumental "Fact & Fiction" in 1996 (whose titles are a compilation edited by the British magazine "Guitarist Magazine" in July of that year) and "Result Of Dysfunction" in 1997. It was also demonstrator "Salon Music" held in Paris in June 1995.

In 1999, the group came into contact with the group Symbyosis to participate in recording their first album, "Crisis". Then he collaborated with ARDAG (author, composer and performer for the soundtrack of French film Cédric Klapisch's "L'Auberge Espagnole") in 2003, playing guitar on his first album and the tour participant . That same year, he met DJ Shalom (the bassist and DJ M), which made him the honor of appearing on his first album project, after which he recorded two morceuax for the remix album of Mr.

Meanwhile, his career took a radically different turn. In 1999 he directed the special effects, his first music video WATCH ( "Concrete Lie" in 1999) and "Without The BacT'es Nothing" in 2006, "France Tip" (the youth program on the channel France 3), for which he composed the music. For the same program from 2004 to 2006,
KB creates, co-wrote and directed "Head Trick", a short program for which he also did the soundtrack.

KB Guitar Project Paris, France “Twelve Ways to Warm Up Your Days”

http://www.guitarplayer.com/uploadedImages/guitarplayer/Riffs/gp0909_riffshordesKBguitar.jpg

Here’s a seven-minute collection of melodic shredding, fabulous technique, good tones, wacky samples, strange bloops and bleeps, and tons of fun. Some players get oh-so-serious about their talents, and it kind of mutes the enjoyment factor of their tracks, but KB isn’t afraid to blend killer chops and good humor.
