Mario Parga: savage paradise with graham bonnet acoustic pre namm jam

On Friday 16th January 2009, the night before their NAMM performance at the Fishman booth, Mario Parga (lead guitar), Graham Bonnet (vocals, guitar), Eric Ragno (keyboards) and Tim Luce (bass, guitar) got together in Mario's hotel room in Los Angeles, CA and did a quick run through of their all-acoustic set.

This rare 'behind the scenes' footage filmed by Mario's wife Shawna shows the guys typically goofing off instead of practicing...! :-D They play some of the NAMM material, but burst into impromptu performances of the Elvis classic 'Viva Las Vegas' and 'It's So Easy' by Buddy Holly. They had a great time and laughed a lot. Mario's one year old daughter Skye didn't think they were funny at all...!

The acoustic set was originally going to include Mario's instrumental 'Ritual' from his album 'Entranced' (2007), but at the last minute, drummer Kevin Valentine was sadly unable to play the NAMM performance due to technical issues with a borrowed drum pad set, so the song was removed from the set list.

Amusing to watch, with some acoustic shred moments from Mario to listen out for ;-) Hope you enjoy it!
