Alex Hutchings: 20 Minor 7th Licks

20 Minor Rock-Fusion Licks

Alex is back for the second entry of his 'Secrets' series and this time he's showing how to conquer the Minor Seventh chord in a Rock Fusion environment! With Alex's unique blend of creativity and all out 'feel' he has designed these licks for any player to learn from. We have included the TABs in both EADGBE and EADGCF tunings (as Alex tunes in straight fourths). Inside the deluxe edition (over 3.5Gb of material and one and half hours of pure gold) Alex himself takes you through the concept behind each lick, breaking down some of the theory and techniques involved to help you master the licks. There's also an extra bonus lick for deluxe edition owners too!

Inside this pack you will find MANY different ways to take on the Minor seventh chord. Alex makes great use of melodic choices such as the melodic minor scale, pentatonics, Dorian mode, chromatics, and a few tasty outside ideas. On the technique front you can expect some impeccable displays of tapping, sweeping, legato, string skipping, hybrid picking, odd note groupings and creative bending all blended into some of the best minor licks you'll ever hear. Alex say's 'I've tried to keep these licks at an intermediate standard so that anyone can learn from the ideas behind these licks, and of course there are some very advanced ideas in there too...My hope is that it will encourage you to come up with some really interesting licks of your own.'

This pack also contains short and extended versions of 4 static chord backings (in 4 different keys). These tracks are open enough to allow plenty of experimentation and 'choice' in what you wish to play over them, giving you the perfect backdrop to learn these licks and then implement them in a few different keys straight away.

You will also find a hidden (in plain sight) code to get 30% off of a select few other Alex Hutchings products!

As ever, we have accurately transcribed every note and included the TAB/notation in the download, full backing tracks, audio solos and track notes.
