Background:
Marshall Greenberg was born and raised in Northern Virginia. He started to play the guitar at the age of 12, serously playing the instrument at the age of 15 when he started reading music tablature.
Later he went to Mary Washington College studying music theory, history, Classical, Jazz guitar, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in music. After college he taught private guitar lessons. Marshall is also a chopsfromhell guest columnist
