Background:
Dario was born in Taranto in 1980 . He started playing his dads guitar at the age of 16 after listening to a friend playing rock riffs. He got some private tuition to move him forward more quickly. After some time he began to learn alternate picking techniques, sweep picking and hybrid tapping techniques. He finally got some lessons from Giovanni Nisi (as recommended by Guido) studying harmony and improvisation. He left Taranto to move to Turin to study mathematics at university.

Some of his influences include players: Nuno Bettencourt, Paul Gilbert, Jimmy Page, Richie Blackmore, Richie Kotzen, Greg Howe, Yngwie Malmsteen , Steve Stevens, Joey Tafolla, Jason Becker and Lorenzo Venza ( noted already on truthinshredding).

Check out some of his tasty rock based playing on musicistiweb here or his web site.
