Background:
It is not that often that a new type of fuison appears on the scene but I think Roy Marchbank has added celtic fusion as a new guitar gentre.

Roy studied in Scotland's Perth Music College and taught guitar privately in Edinburgh. Roy moved to Dublin to play with Bohinta. Roy also played for Jesus Christ Superstar, Godspell, The Rocky Horror Picture Show and session work for Marion Bradfield, Lesley Dowdall and teaching in the music school of Nass Ireland.

Roy moved to Scotland to play in the band "The Iron Horse". When The Iron Horse split in search of there own solo careers, Roy returned to Dublin to record an EP. Roy now currently resides in Barcelona.

Check out his web site for a more complete bio or read the excellent sea of tranquility interview.
