Using my Focusrite Scarlett 4i4! This piece uses a whole note delay at 60 bpm which is a lot of time to harmonize with yourself. I think delay is an underutilized way to work on keeping time, especially for those of you who hate metronomes. Here I'm harmonizing quintuplets and using parallel keys (2 beats of A major followed by 2 beats of A minor). It's really fun and challenging to get these rhythms and harmonies lined up. I'm not quite satisfied with the blazing quintuplets (you can hear how I'm struggling to nail them in place) but I think this will get the point across. Check out my Patreon page patreon.com/koalanights for a lesson and tab about how to play this as well as practicing with delay and using modal interchange. Also hit me up for lessons over skype!
