Here is a loose adaptation of the tune for the competition. Decided to skip the repeats to have more room to work with on both sections, which I took advantage of by shifting a lot of things around and adding more dense harmonies. So while the melody is much slower than it should be, there’s a lot more going on between the melody notes. I decided to go with a more electronic vibe, as well as turning the tune into (mostly) 5/8, along with a few twists. Hope you enjoy!
