Latest song 2/7/11

Marco Sfogli: creations end.

Thanks to Rich Brymer for the info. Rich was lucky to be with Marco as he recorded in the studio.

Creation's End is the vision of New York City's Rudolph Albert (guitar - ex-Zandelle) and Dario Rodriguez (drums).

Rudy and Dario, who met in school, have been playing music together since 1999. As they grew tighter in their playing, they began to focus on writing original material. The nature of the material evolved from simple metal tunes in the early years, to more complex and mature compositions.

During the summers of 2003 through 2006, Dario and Rudy convened to write music. The focus of the sessions was simply to make great music that they both enjoyed, and each summer, Rudy and Dario wrote and recorded a new demo of original material.

Rudy soon took on keyboard duties in the band Until Destiny, where he met John Macaluso (drummer of James LaBrie Band, Fool's Game, ex-Ark, ex-TNT, ex-Yngwie Malsteen). After a short period of time, Rudy and Dario decided that the time was right to revisit their old material to record and release it the right way.

With a newly renovated studio and producer John Macaluso on board, Rudy and Dario set out to record 8 reworked versions of songs that appeared on their demos. They were joined by the lineup - Mike Dimeo, (ex-Masterplan, ex-Riot), Marco Sfogli (James LaBrie Band), and Joe Black (Chris Caffery, ex-Zandelle).

2010 will see the release of "A New Beginning" and marks the fruition of the album envisioned from the beginning - melodic, touches of prog, a strong sense of groove, and brutally heavy and dark. Backed by Intromental Management, the quintet is set to unleash their music on the world.

Rich Brymer posted a new rock track on MySpace, the track "Risen" features a goodly dose of Riches' trademark picking, squeals and "feel" lick arsenal . Check it out and feedback to Rich on MySpace: http://www.myspace.com/richbrymer... I guess I should say check out the other tracks too, like melancholic Gone and the moody Her soul...and the rocky thought of dreams where Rich brings a touch of Nu Yawk rawk edgyness to the party.

Background:
Rich Brymer is a guitarist from Long Island New York, USA. I was interested straight away as he mentioned one of my favourite players, Rich Kern, in his list of top players from New York including Steve Vai, John Petrucci, Joe Satriani,Al Pitrelli and aforementioned Rich Kern!

During his early stages he took lessons from Al Pitrelli then later John Petrucci. Since then he has been training others with his advanced guitar skills. Rich is also a friend of ex Dream Theater singer Charlie Dominici.

Body: Hi Friends,
I went to bed early last night only too wake up at 2:30am.I went to my computer and checked my emails one of them was my good Friend and Guitar Shredder "Bobby Ferrara"well at least I thought it was until I opened the email but it was from his wife Angel tell me that Bobby had passed away from a Heart Attack the night before and how much in shock she still is.

I'm very sad because Bobby and I grew up together on Long Island,N.Y. and hung out alot back then,in fact i showed Bobby alot of stuff on guitar back them.He has gotten pretty far as a well respected Guitar Shredder. He moved N.J with his family then later to California and got married.About 8 months ago he brought a house in Texas and I know he loved it there.

The last time I saw Bobby was when he lived in N.J.I drove 3 hrs to visit him for a full day of us both shredding in his mothers house!

we lost contact and about a year ago he found me on MS so we've been keeping close contact since then.He has gained many cool connections with guitar companies over seas and was working on a very cool solo projects in which I was gonna lay down a few tracks..

He was such a kind guy he never drank, smoked or did drugs and thats one of the reasons why we got along so well.We both just thiught about guitar!

I'm pretty much a MESS right now so if i don't respond to any of you here on ms pls understand..

Below is a Link of my good friend and first guitar student:Bobby Ferrara..

It's a very sad day here
Thx to all,

My tribute:
Yngwie Malmsteen - Icarus Dream Fanfare with Orchestra

Background:
Bobby Ferrara, born Robert Patrick Ferrara now living in Palm Springs, CA, originally hailed from Queens Village, New York . He is self taught and (among other things) a world class, ultra fast shred guitarist. He has been described by the world's top guitar shredders as .. melting metal with burning speed ~ chaotic melodic maniac ~ jaw-dropping ~ faster than the flight of the bumble bee at double speed, then faster ~ a metal burner and the quotes go on. Bobby is all these, with much more, his playing is the cleanest I have ever heard at such high speeds and looses absolutely nothing, his shredding contains far more melody than his worldly counterparts, but he is more than this too. His composing is fresh, clever, and as passionate as his playing, his haunting guitar work cries in his rock ballads, using as much compassionate control and projection in his slow work as he does in his high speed shredding. Bobby Ferrara is a true guitar virtuoso.
