Andee Blacksugar: Broke out the old Strat to play Gun Fetish

Broke out the old Strat for this, which has almost no frets left on it. It's not easy to play but I eeked this one out. Also tapped on the Electro Harmonix PitchFork a bit in the second solo.

Trae Titus, Evan Webster: Pangaea - Aokigahara Guitar Playthrough

Band Members
Vocals: Michael Dionne
Guitar: Trae Titus
Guitar: Evan Webster
Bass: Spencer Fox
Drums: Steve Meyer

Pangaea is a Wisconsin-based five piece that draws from numerous influences, creating music that appeals to all fans of heavy music. With this wide variety of musical influences, Pangaea brings elements from all styles of music together into one eclectic piece of art. Their debut EP entitled, “Unified,” experiments with combining progressive yet crushing breakdowns and technical melodic riffs with colorful vocal harmonies that tastefully complement dynamic underlying guitar passages. Unafraid to experiment, Pangaea doesn’t force all of its focus on heaviness or technicality. Rather, the band strives to write songs that are authentic and inventive, with hopes to guide heavy music in a new direction. 5.29.15 will see the release of the band's sophomore EP "Roots" and plans on extensive touring in support of it for the rest of 2015.

Doug Wahlberg: Releases Debut Album "Flying Under The Radar"

Westport, CT - Mott The Hoople legend Ian Hunter describes East Coast guitarist and singer/songwriter Doug Wahlberg’s playing as “not of this earth”. The Doug Wahlberg Band has been electrifying audiences for years, performing originals most cannot distinguish from main stream radio play. Their music features simple, melodic hooks, both gritty and laid back but always hypnotic and driving. These tunes will etch their way into your memory. While reminiscent of British and American classic rock, The Doug Wahlberg Band brings a modern approach to a retro sound, which can be heard throughout their recently released debut album titled "Flying Under The Radar".

“…Doug's blistering solo blew the roof off the place (Ridgefield Playhouse) and received a thunderous applause that was justly deserved. The Doug Wahlberg Band is F-ING great and a must see for all fans of classic guitar rock.” – Neal Smith, original Alice Cooper Group drummer and RnR Hall of Fame inductee

Band members have resumes that boast performances with the unparalleled talents of The Doors, Neal Smith of Alice Cooper Band, José Feliciano, and Ian Hunter. The band has opened for classic acts such as Paul Simon, Foreigner, George Thorogood, Blue Oyster Cult, The Ramones, Eddie Money, Rick Derringer, and Cheap Trick. Doug has worked on projects that included such legends as Rick Derringer, Elton John's lyricist Bernie Taupin and Bowie’s guitarist and producer Mick Ronson. He has been managed by Lester Chambers of the Chamber Brothers and has even performed at a birthday party for which the guest of honor was Andy Warhol.

“Doug Wahlberg is a great, great guitar player.” - José Feliciano

The Doug Wahlberg Band's music has traveled national and international air waves and been widely received in the college radio circuit. Members of The Doug Wahlberg Band have performed from coast to coast, as well as internationally, with concentrated club performances in New York City at hot spots like the Bitter End, The Cutting Room, and CBGBs, as well as East Coast venues like Foxwoods Casino, the Wolf Den at Mohegan Sun, and The Ridgefield Playhouse. They even bent the blues rules playing their own brand of rock and roll at the Montreal Festiblues blues festival.

Now much to the excitement of the band's fans worldwide, the Doug Wahlberg Band has released their highly anticipated debut album "Flying Under The Radar"! Says Doug, “After Jeff Claypool joined the band, we decided that it was time to stop flying under the radar, and put out a new album. The CD was recorded digitally and in part on 2-inch tape, over several months, starting with the roughs in my home studio. Roughs for 'Love When it Rains', 'What If', 'Nothing' and 'Torture' were brought for mixing and mastering to Peter Hodgson, who has worked with Deep Purple, Gary Moore, and many others. 'The Lake', 'Broken', 'Waiting on the Sun', and 'Can't Wait' were recorded and produced at Moomba Studios ( by Michael Patzig, who has worked with such artists as Michael Bolton. The album follows the theme of 'A Modern Approach to a Retro Sound'. Writing was inspired by everything from 'neighborhood experiences' in The Lake, to the answers to life's questions in 'What If'.”

“The Doug Wahlberg Band wears their 60's/psychedelic influences proudly, while still sounding crisp, modern and vital.” – Tim Sheehan, Program Director, I95 WRKI

The Doug Wahlberg Band is:
Doug Wahlberg – Doug plays signature Skeletone guitars, which have a unique body style and explosive tone. Doug has participated on projects with Jose Feliciano, Bernie Taupin (Elton John's lyricist), Mick Ronson (David Bowie’' guitarist and producer), Peter Tosh, and original Alice Cooper group drummer and recent Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Neal Smith. In 2014 Doug played several guitar tracks on Neal's critically acclaimed album “The Green Fire Empire”.

Joe Bonamassa: Promise fulfilled - Full Show at Mr Kyps on November 1, 2015

Ten years ago little known Blues guitarist Joe Bonamassa travelled from the States to play his first UK gig to a small crowd at Mr. Kyps.

Kyp was so impressed by the music he was sent he even agreed to finance the show himself.

The gig went down so well he returned again and again and as the crowds grew so did the size of the venues he played all over the country.

Joe returned one more time and at the end of the night he made a promise to return one day to play again.

A lot of water has passed under the bridge since then and the name Joe Bonamassa can now sell out the Royal Albert Hall and larger arenas up and down the country but tonight he made good on that promise and returned to Kyps to play to a packed house.

The lucky 300 competition winners packed into Kyps and right from the start were treated to a Blues Master class delivered the way only the man and his band can.

Joe Bonamassa Fulfills Promise and Returns to Mr. Kyps!

Ten years ago, blues-rock titan Joe Bonamassa played his first ever show in the UK at Mr. Kyps club in Poole. The guitar virtuoso, who has since gone on to play such hallowed venues as the iconic Royal Albert Hall, formed a lasting relationship with Kyps and made a promise that he would return to the venue that helped him get his UK Start. On November 1, 2015, Joe Bonamassa made good on that promise, playing a free show at Mr. Kyps as a thank you to both the club and to the fans!
