András Pálfi: Laney Hungary competition

This is a video that was made for a competition organized by Laney Hungary.

It's a home-made commercial video, presenting the Boss Micro BR digital sound recording device. Throughout the video I'm playing excerpts of the following songs:

Under a Glass Moon (Dream Theater)
Electric Gypsy (Andy Timmons)
Cutting Edge (Original)
December (Original - acoustic)
Cinnamon Girl (Neil Young)
Pink Champagne Sparkle (Andy Timmons)

The weird language that I'm talking is hungarian. Sorry guys, but this was a requriement in the competition that the video has to be in hungarian :)

Paul Gilbert, Bruce Bouillet: Troubadour Last Show 1989

I was so gutted when I heard Paul had quit Racer X. I had been told that they were planning a tour of the UK with Cacophony. I still live in hope that Racer X will do a tour... mean time videos like this remind me of what I missed...

READ! this is scarified from the 1989 troubadour show. Bruce rips on guitar on this one. there's only Bruce, John, Jeff and Scott. this is the last concert they did. jeff threw his mic up and got it caught on a cable at the beginning of the video. and there's a picture of Bruce at the end of the video which was taken during this particular show. thanks to JJ.Gray for the picture. he's the current owner of that orange epiphone.

News: Dream Theater, Black Country Communion, Michael Schenker Group announced for High Voltage 2011

High Voltage 2011 – Line Up Announcement
Following the exciting announcement that heavy metal legends Judas Priest will play theirfarewell festival performance as High Voltage headliners and metal heroes Dream Theater will be closing the weekend with their only 2011 UK festival performance, we are delighted to announced that joining them on the main stage is none other than heavy rock supergroup Black Country Communion, featuring Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple, Black Sabbath) on vocals and bass, Jason Bonham (Led Zeppelin) on drums, Derek Sherinian (Dream Theater) on keyboards, and Joe Bonamassa (the blues-rock solo star) on guitar and vocals. The band released its debut album in 2010 to widespread critical acclaim and will not be performing at any other UK festival this year.
They will be joined on the main stage by Michael Schenker Group led by the guitar hero who made his name in the 1970s with two iconic bands – Britain’s UFO and Germany’s Scorpions.
We’re also thrilled to reveal that the legendary Jethro Tull – led by charismatic singer and flute player Ian Anderson and guitarist Martin Barre – are set to headline the Prog Stage; this is a UK exclusive, Tull’s only UK show of 2011.

Following a lengthy hiatus two cult prog bands have reformed to join us on the Prog Stage,Spock’s Beard will perform another UK festival exclusive and British heroes Caravan add to the occasion alongside Mostly Autumn, Pallas and The Enid.
