Jack Gardiner: Noodling at Frankfurt Musikmesse 2012

From musikmesse 2012

Jack Gardiner using Richard Lainegard's PRS for a quick noodling session at Frankfurt Musicmesse 2012. The location was in the centre of the hall...

From musikmesse 2012

and the temperature was quite hot... so I think Jack was over heating... but it was no surprise to me as he was still wearing his trade mark knitted hat!

t-cophony: Portrait on 2 acoustic guitars, spooky!

This is my tune "Portrait" (from new album in 2013) .
I originally use the double neck acoustic guitar for this song.
But I used two acoustic guitars to get two kinds of independent tones.
I hope you'll enjoy it.

Misha Mansoor, Adam Nolly Getgood, Mark Holcomb: Periphery - Headstock Cam

Periphery performs "Make Total Destroy" I attached a GoPro Hero2 HD to their headstocks using the ventilated helmet mount (not the ideal mount to use, but its the only one I had!). Since I only had one camera, I had to take each member's footage at separate shows (as you might be able to tell), and edit them all together into one seamless video.

I'm currently working on a full-length tour documentary of Periphery's recent European tour with Between the Buried and Me, and The Safety Fire. Check out the documentary I made of the Summer Slaughter tour in the USA earlier this year Please subscribe for updates!

Periphery is:
Spencer Sotelo - vocals
Matt Halpern - drums
Misha Mansoor - guitar
Mark Holcomb - guitar
Jake Bowen - guitar
Adam Nolly Getgood - bass

Made by Jeff Holcomb

Special thanks to Nick Dodd

Yiannis Papadopoulos: officially endorsing PRS Guitars

Yiannis Papadopoulos

“The balance and the harmony of the sound, the sight and the touch of the custom 24 are just beyond imagination. After all these years, this guitar has become an extension of my own hand. I can’t imagine of another instrument fitting my needs better than this fine piece of art” – Yiannis Papadopoulos

Yiannis Papadopoulos was born on 5th April 1984 in Athens, Greece. Growing up in a family of musicians, guitar was the toy that caught his attention and became eventually his passion in life. At the early age of 4 he started taking guitar lessons from his father and at the age of 7 he enrolled in a conservatory and started his “official” practice. After a few years he got his Degree in classical guitar and classical harmony – with honors in both.

His rock/metal influences led him soon to dig deep into the rock/fusion territory which is his main area of interest and expertise. Having in mind that the only limitation in art is imagination, he constantly strives to broaden his musical style and sound, always searching for new musical paths and ways of approaching guitar playing. His passion and hard work grew his reputation as a guitar teacher and since 2002, he has been teaching guitar in many conservatories, having students from Greece and all over the world.

Yiannis is endorsing some of the best musical equipment manufacturers in the world, including PRS Guitars, Wampler pedals, Spectraflex cables, Picato Strings and Tsakalis Audiotubeworks, with whom he produced his all tube signature amp and preamp models.

Many years now, Yiannis has worked as a session musician in several bands, playing at the most famous clubs in Greece and making TV appearances in various Greek shows and events. Moreover, he has participated in many recordings by Greek and International artists as a guest musician.

In April 2012 he joined the Goin Through Band, a very famous Greek band, with which he is touring Greece, participating in huge events and festivals.

Within the next couple of years his first cd with instrumental music is about to be released.
