Alexis Didier's reputation is well known for a long time throughout the musical mob. This outstanding improviser shapes his universe at the crossroads of blues, jazz, country and rhythm'n'blues. It was only a matter of time for this gunslinger to make its contribution to the United Guitars adventure. "Lagu", the track he put on the table evokes both the sticky funky vibe from New Orleans and the jazz blues of the 70s crafted by Larry Carlton and Robben Ford in California. The latter adds his touch to “Lagu”, a way for Alexis to “loop the loop” by inviting one of his mentors to his guitar orgy. Seb Chouard ends the story with a masterful solo engaging the "boost mode", bouncing like hell on Robben's final double-stop shot, and developing a "twangy" chorus as subtle as it was mischievous, demonstrating the full extent of his vocabulary. These three aces of the Telecaster offer us a more than enjoyable auditory experience that we would like to be infinite, supported by the “Steve Cropper style” rhythm guitar of Jessie Lee Houllier. The birth of a super group? We can dream about it !
