THE NEW SITE
If you've been to bluesjamtracks.com recently, you'll have seen our groovy new site design. Not only does it look nice, but the whole shopping cart system is much faster and easier to use. It only takes a few clicks to go from choosing your jam tracks to downloading them, and we can respond to any problems much more easily. Also, we're going to be switching our payment system from Paypal to Worldpay very soon, which will improve things even more.
NEW JAM TRACKS
We've launched a whole new set of jam track packages this month... the Contemporary series. This features ten packages based around modern rock grooves, each featuring the usual combination of a full-length jam track, a sample solo and an accurate transcription of the solo. As a special treat, all sample solos are played by the amazing Guthrie Govan, and we've also included videos of Guthrie playing his solos!
Following on from this, we're also taking the first steps in planning a series of jam tracks designed for modern rock playing. These backings will be designed for players who want to work within a single scale without sounding boring. There might not be much traditional blues going on there, but these packages will be suitable for players of all levels and styles.
The zip file contains an mp3 recording of the lick and a PDF of the Tab for lick of the month
