🎶 Kintsugi — Unreleased composition that belongs to my first EP Fingerstyle: “Rebirthing from the ashes" 🎧 Recording, mixing and production: Diego Rodríguez 🎥 Audiovisual production: Stick Mostaza ✨Kintsugi is an oriental technique that consists of repairing what is broken with gold; in this way, the broken pieces are not only restored, but also increase their value, beauty and strength. A wonderful concept that we can apply to life, especially when situations appear that break us into pieces. In my case, it was in the year 2023 when my life broke into pieces, because literally all areas of my life were affected. It was days, weeks and months of dealing with deep suffering that ended up impacting my health both mentally and physically, to the point of receiving a diagnosis of post-traumatic stress and being left with half my body almost paralyzed for months. Today, when I look back and remember the painful pangs of nerve damage, the panic attacks, or the doctors telling me I might have a stroke, I ask myself: How did I get back on my feet? And all I can say is that my God and Creator took each of those pieces and, little by little, performed Kintsugi with me, mending each part with love, until He gave me back my life, my purpose, and helped me return to music. It has been a difficult process and one that requires a lot of patience, because some pieces only heal through forgiveness—and it's not easy to forgive someone who breaks you. However, every time I face a new obstacle, I think: "If I overcame that, I can overcome anything." I thank God and my family—especially my mother and my sister Lili—for being my angels who watch over me and who lifted me up even when I had no strength. I also thank those friends who believed in me when I couldn't even do it myself. And I especially thank Diego Rodríguez, to whom I owe not only the incredible sound of my EP, but he was also the first to believe in my musical proposal. I will never forget that day in his Red Spot studio when he told me: "I believe in your project. Let's record!" And from there began this process of "Reborn from the Ashes", hence the name of my EP. This composition and this video are the result of that entire healing process, and a reminder for everyone that what is broken can be restored, that we must honor our scars and see the gold within them, for they are a testament to everything we have overcome. ✨ With much love, Angela
