Background:
Hans Van Even was born in Belgium on 4 June 1969 in a family of paint artists. At age 11 he began playing the guitar and from 1984 to 1991 he studied classical music at Rikso and jazz music at Jazz Studio in Antwerp, Belgium. Hans played opening acts for artists like Joe Cocker, Christopher Cross, John Miles, Mike Stern, André Ceccarelli

From 1993 to 2000, Hans taught Guitar, Improvisation, Music and Computer, Sight reading and Ensemble at CIAM ( College of Contemporary Music in Bordeaux, France). He worked and recorded with several Belgian, French, Spanish and American artists (Philippe Duvignac, Fabian Barnes, Garlo, Didier Ballan ...) and toured in Belgium, France, Holland, Spain & Japan. Over the last years Hans did guitar demonstrations for Roland, Digidesign & IK Multimedia. He's actually busy as a composer, guitarist, teacher & is demonstrator for Washburn and Randall France (Arbiter France).
