I was stunned by the easy playability of the Holdsworth Delap type guitar. It performed well sans amp on a recent trip but I was floored when I picked it up recently and it just let me have any lick I went for. The action is nearly uniformly low the entire length of the fretboard. This is quite rare for a guitar luthier to achieve.
