Magic Circle Music and MANOWAR are launching a Battle Of The Bands Contest where bands from around the world will compete against each other to win the once in a lifetime chance to play on the main stage at the Magic Circle Festival 2008. The winning band will be invited to play 3 songs on the main stage on Saturday, July 12th, 2008. The winning band will also be featured on the Magic Circle Festival Volume 2 DVD and will have their single released by Magic Circle Music.
The second edition of the Magic Circle Festival set to take place in Bad Arolsen, Germany, will feature a special performance by Manowar on July 11 and July 12, playing the entire first six albums of their career.
DORO and W.A.S.P. have just confirmed their exclusive festival appearances in Germany this summer at the Magic Circle Festival. Also, Swiss hard rock legends GOTTHARD have just been confirmed! The stage will continue to rock on with the special guest appearance of BRAZEN ABBOT featuring the classic voice of ex-RAINBOW/DEEP PURPLE singer Joe Lynn Turner. More bands will be announced soon.
"We are doing everything we can to make sure the fans have a good time", says Manowar bassist Joey DeMaio.
The Magic Circle Festival 2008 will be held in Bad Arolsen, Germany from July 9 to 12, 2008.
