I had a quick message from Dannyjoe Carter who continues to work on his new CD which is a vocal based project. Dannyjoe estimates that it's ll be at least another year before he completes the project. So in the meantime he's added a new mp3 to his main web site.

Here are a few MP3s and little clips. I need to explain this CD because many people have asked why the songs are so short. Back in 99' a known player mentioned that I attend the NAMM show and prepare a simply demo for people to listen to.
He suggested I make simple backing tracks and showcase in less than two minutes my phrasing and chops. Any longer and people wouldn't have time to listen so it was better to get right to the point. So these are simply jam tracks and not complete songs.This is the first and only instrumental CD I will ever do. In the future I will stick with band format style music.
I have been working on a new CD for a few years now but I'm always struggling for time. With a full time job and family, I haved one day a week to do anything musically. So I'm putting up this new tune which has been done for a couple years now because it may take another couple years before I get the whole CD done. Here's the first song called "LOST".
