Morten Faerestrand: The George Benson's class is complete

I've been really busy building my new studio the last months, so that's why you haven't heard from me in a while..

Anyway.

2013 is almost over, so I wanted to give you a heads up on some of the things happening with the site and me lately


1. The George Bensons class is complete! 

Content:

  • 3 lessons on George's solo on "Billie's Bounce".  (Includes backing track)
  • Octaves + 4ths/5ths, typical GB trick
  • 2 lessons on GB's solo on "The Getto"  (Includes backing track)
  • 3 lessons on GB's solo on "Weekend in L.A."  (Includes backing track)
  • 1 lesson on GB's solo on Clockwise.  (Includes backing track)
  • 4 lessons on "I remember Wes", guitar part for entire song, both melody, chord melody and improvised solo.  (Includes backing track)
  • 2 lessons on "From Now On", the complete transcription of GB's beautiful solo piece.
  • Analysis of everything in classes, arpeggios, scales, chords etc.


2. Lesson #400

We're actually closing in on 400 video lessons on MortensLessons.com, so that's cause for celebration! :-)  (The "Learn all the notes..." course finally got indexed, and starting on #300 it contains almost 100 videos.)


3.  Garage --> Studio conversion.
