Marco Sfogli gets the ytsejam treatment as he explains the genus of his latest hope CD

Marco Sfogli says:
I decided to put a solo record out as soon as I came back home from the Elements of Persuasion tour back in 2005,” begins Sfogli, “I had some material to work on, some riffs and melodies you know…I even used stuff that I recorded 6-7 years ago as demos. It took a good couple of years to get 11 songs together; hopefully I didn’t have to rush and didn’t have any pressure about the release date so I took advantage of it.

The CD is also reviewed and gets high praise:

One of the most fluidly melodic guitar records you will hear, Sfogli plays his axe as a singer would sing his vocal lines, backing up a series of songs, yes songs, not just wanky shred fests, for this is a record filled with tune upon tune of catchy splendor, being heavy to the bone – similar to the likes of Satriani, Vai, and labelmate Ed Box - conveying grinding emotional glory through the six strings.
