Background:
I finally got around to adding Rob Johnson, sorry for the delay...Rob Johnson was born in Ohio, USA. He arrived around the time of the second wave of shred players along with Derek Taylor, Todd Duane and Scott Stine. He includes alot of incendiary lick playing in his style and quotes Steve Vai , Joe Satriani , Paul Gilbert, Greg Howe, Buckethead as an example pof some of his influences.
Rob has 3 solo instrumental Guitar CD's. He also formed a progressive band called Magnitude9 which would appeal to fans of Dream Theater , Fates Warning , TNT , Queensryche. Check out a full summary of releases from Rob Johnson and Magnitude9 on guitar 9 where you can also hear music samples.
