Background:
Tyler Loder was born in Ottawa, Kansas. He started playing guitar at the age 14. He did not have any formal guitar lessons or theory training and focused on playing "what felt right". He has played guitar for about 9 years now and when he first started he was playing about 10-12 hours a day. He's been able to add great guitar control by putting in the time playing.
Influences include Joe Satriani, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Michael Romeo and Steve Vai. He has played in a couple of local bands back in 2001 when he was a resident of Tampa Bay, Florida.
