"Sammy and I will go in the studio and finish the record in December, we'll get it mixed in January, it'll be out by April, and come midsummer, we'll go on tour."..."It's a chance to expand what I do, but at the same time, kind of go to the kind of music I used to write before my solo career really took off. Basically, I always saw myself as a guitar player that stood behind the lead vocalist."
When asked if Sammy Hagar will be picking up the guitar, Joe answers:
"And I'm trying to get him to put his guitar on. Sammy really just wants to be the singer--but I'll get him to pick up his guitar."full post
