Hey guys, I was recently introduced to IQS strings by a few friends of mine and have started using their 11-52 gauge set exclusively. I recorded a quick improvisation vid so you guys can get a feel for how they sound. They are hand wound strings crafted in Italy with superb tone, longevity and feel. I like them so much that I've re-strung all my guitars with them and couldn't be happier.
I used to use Elixers (great strings) but, partly due to the gauge and partly due to the uncoated nature, these have a lot more punch and sustain across the note range and seem to last a long time for an uncoated string. They are fairly bright but not offensively so with my set being nickel. The feel is smooth and they don't get sticky like a lot of other un-coated strings I've tried so no need for Fastfret or other string lubricants. The tension is comfortable but reassuringly stiff for this gauge. Of course all sorts of gauges are available to suit your needs.

Thanks for watching,
