More fun with the Abasi Concepts Pathos distortion pedal at low gain! I’m currently experimenting with layering very close displacements and intervals. This specific idea involves starting the same exact subordinate layer an 1/8th triplet after the first one, with a difference of one note, creating an overarching, cascading master motif that also generates a purring destructive interference between the close intervals. The Abasi Pathos pedal is really subtle and sensitive, which allows one to dial in just the right amount of gain without being too overbearing. This is really important when working with destructive interferences.
