The song is based around a technique I've been referring to as "picklets." A downstroke/upstroke to a hammered on note, it's a very efficient way to create a triplet. I should have a proper lesson video on it and the song soon. The name of the song is also a nod to now disbanded Chicago Math-Rock band Piglet.
