Hello Friends and Fans,
It's been a crazy month since I last emailed you guys. There's a lot to tell you about!
First of all, as many of you have already noticed, there is a BRAND NEW RichieKotzen.com! We've been working really hard on building a new site that is full of exciting content, interactive, and user-friendly. We've integrated all of our social networks, and they will still be a big part of what we do, but we want this to be the official home for the fan community. Think of this site as it's own social network for my fans! This is where you will be able to find all of the most up-to-date information, content and opportunities. Please check it out and leave your comments. We are still working out a few kinks here and there, and I appreciate all of you who have commented so far. The reaction to the site has been great and we will continue to tweak it and develop it in the coming weeks. Check it out here!
The 2010 Peace Sign World tour is off to a great start! We had an amazing 2 week run in South America with 9 shows in Brazil, Chile and Argentina. The crowds were insane and it was a lot of fun performing for them. The new material from PEACE SIGN seemed to go over really well. I'm incredibly thankful to all of the fans that came out and made us feel so welcome there! I also wanted to send a big thank you out to all the local promoters and clubs that made it all possible. I got to spend a few days at home and then got right back on a plane last night to start my first US tour in many years! I'm excited to see all of you fans in the US. The first gig with the band is tomorrow night at Skipper's Smokehouse in Tampa, FL and then we'll work our way up the East Coast. We hope to announce some West Coast dates for later in the year soon!
I've been getting a lot of requests from you for some clinic dates. I'm happy to announce that I have added four clinic dates to this upcoming run! You can catch a clinic at Sam Ash stores in Orlando, FL (May 10), Madison, TN (May 15), King of Prussia, PA (May 20) and NYC (May 24)! Thanks to Sam Ash, Zoom, and Marshall for helping make these clinics happen!
Wait, did I just say Marshall? I am very excited to say that I am now a part of the Marshall family! I will be using Marshall amplifiers exclusively throughout the tour!
