Per Nilsson: jamming at the Musikmesse 2013

There are lot of players here to see Ola Englund and his band play on the Agora stage, the main stage in the centre of the Musikmesse. It's a great time to catch up with all the players you meet up with on line but  away from the virtual world. I caught with the amazing Per Nilsson, who was jamming with friends. I love Per Nilsson's super fluid technique and you can see why he was picked up by Ibanez for and exclusive endorsement.

Per Nilsson is one of the guitarists and founding members of the Swedish melodic death metal band Scar Symmetry. He is also the guitarist for the Swedish progressive rock group Kaipa and joined the American melodic death metal band The Absence as a permanent member in January 2013, having earlier produced their 2007 album Riders of the Plague. That same month, Guitar Messenger released a guitar instructional DVD with Per called Scar Guitar. Currently he is endorsed by and exclusively uses Ibanez guitars.[1] He plays seven-string and eight-string guitars primarily, but uses an Ibanez JEM 6 string in the studio for most of the lead guitar parts.
