This is a remake of an original composition that was originally recorded on four track back in 1998 and appeared on my Visions and Dreams album. Hope you enjoy it.
I omitted the piano parts that were originally through out the tune and the pad at the end. I tried to keep everything else basically the same except for the strings. They only appear at the Interlude. The percussion parts are different than the original. I used Toontrack's Fusion Grooves and Superior Drummer 2 for the drum patterns and IK Multimedia's Sample Tank 4 for the percussion at the beginning. I was kind of going for a Pat Metheny vibe.
For the guitar I used my headless Birch top Kiesel playing through Amplitube 5 Max using an Acoustic 360 amp like Pat used to do.
For the bass I'm using an Ibanez 5 string Sound Gear and going through Amplitube 5 using the Acoustic 360 as well.
For the strings section I used Native Instruments Kontact 5 and triggered them with my Flame Maple top Kiesel guitar that has the Fishman TriplePlay.
