Anton Lindsjö: wins solo crazyness competition

Thanks to Magnus Olsson for providing me with the update, now Paul Gilbert and co have picked their winner:
WE HAVE A WINNER!

After more than 2 months and intensive listening Paul Gilbert has appointed Anton Lindsjö in Uppsala to the winners in SOLO CRAZINESS 2009 on the grounds:

Congratulations! Your soloing has both strong rhythmic content and super fast and clean lines. You did a great job playing with the Chord changes too. But most of all, your playing has so much CONFIDENCE and power. Keep playing!

We congratulate Anton to glory, fame and the price which is an Ibanez Prestige guitar!
While we fit to congratulate all the finalists to the final placement, and earnings of cables and strings from Planet Waves and D'Addario. Paul comments on these contributions as follows:

Jannicke Damkvist: I like your tone and vibrato a lot. You play some very solid lines that need to be cleaned up slightly or locked into the groove more, but overall I really like the way you SOUND. Keep playing!

Fredric Forsman: Really nice tone and phrasing as well. Be careful with the solid playing, it might need to be cleaned up a little. But your tone and ENERGY are great when you play phrases at normal speed. Keep playing!

Dennis Petersen: It's refreshing to hear some clean tones. Your rhythmic and Melodic SENSE are excellent. Your vibrato and groove are both very good, but you can make them even better with practice and time. Keep playing!

Christopher Vest: You got some good rock guitar vocabulary. Bender, hammer-ons, wah-wah pedal, etc. Just keep adding new ideas to train your fingers and your ears. Keep playing!
